Yankees

Yankees fans the world over snarled slightly louder as Alex Rodriguez announced that he has no plans to leave New York, stating that he is “not a quitter”

“I’ve never ran from problems, I don’t want to go anywhere. I think when we do win, it’s going to be even more gratifying. My commitment is 100 percent unconditional, I want to be a Yankee, I don’t want to go anywhere. I can’t be any more clear.”

Rodriguez has a universal no-trade clause in his contract that allows him to veto a trade to any team. “I don’t want out. If they want to get rid of me, I hope that’s not the case. I think I’m part of the solution. I don’t want to go anywhere.”

In other related news, expect Rodriguez to accept a trade to LA as soon as Joe Torre’s replacement is shown where his office is located.
