Mark Prior completed his first workout with the San Diego Padres and declared he was pain free - making this Prior’s longest season since 2003.
If his rehab from off season shoulder surgery continues on pace, Prior is expected to join the Padres rotation in late May or early June, and then be re-injured in time for the All Star break.
The Padres consider this a very positive sign.
