Another High School Team Cancels Season

In an attempt to one-up the Oscada High football team, Debeque High School of Colorado has elected to cancel their football season before playing a singe game.  Doug Pfau, the Superintendent for the School District, said that the season was been canceled due to… well, essentially because no one wanted to be on the team. 

Said one student “I don’t know, you play high school ball in Colorado, then you’re expected to move on to College, and the next thing you know you’re stabbing the first string player over a slot in the starting lineup.  I just don’t want to get on that merry-go-round.”
