Cleveland Browns make owner vomit in own mouth a bit

When asked what made him want to vomit the most about his football team Lerner replied:

“Across the board,” he said. “Everything. I thought the lack of composure. The lack of performance. I thought the wheels came off on Sunday.”

He was refering to the 30-0 loss to division rival Cincinnati that included a sideline pep talk from wide receiver Braylon Edwards.

After everybody was done explaining how badly the team sucked, they all got together for figurative group hug over how much the organization believes in coach Romeo Crennel.  Everyone from the GM to the players to Crennel himself took a moment to say how much they support him, so I think we can assume he’s about to be fired.

Asked if he saw anything positive in his team Lerner replied “Well… at least they’re not the Oakland Raiders.” *

* Okay, maybe Lerner didn’t say this, but you know he’s got to be thinking it…
