Oscada high school has cancelled the remainder of their football season, and in a surprising twist, it isn’t due to drug use, arrests, gambling or league rule violations.  According to the head coach, it was just because they sucked.

“Oscoda coach Kyle Tobin said the team was not physically competitive, had too few players and faced a tough schedule in the North East Michigan Conference.”

Oscada had so far lost 46-0 to Flint-Hamady, 30-0 to Whittemore-Prescott, 44-0 to West Branch Ogemaw Heights and 44-0 to Tawas.

The coach of Whittemore-Prescott was unavailable to comment on why his team had fared so poorly.
