ESTSN fails to find anything interesting to say about golf for 900th consecutive day

Golf.com brings all the excitement of golf to a website. Ah look - they’ve used a golf ball for the dot in golf dot com. Zany!

After perusing the newly refurbished CNN/SI family site golf.com writers for the sports comedy site ESTSN.com have come up empty handed. Again. This marks the 900th day in a row that the site has not posted a humorous article related to golf.

“It’s remarkable” stated one writer who requested not to be named “you would think something interesting would’ve happened in the last year and a half but nope. Nothing.”

“Go check it out right now” he continued, “‘Should Tiger Woods apologize for swearing’, ‘Michelle Wei might be dating some a tall college basketball player. Look - the most interesting thing on the site is one of the journalists writing about how another of the journalists was hit by a truck. The sport is so boring the people being paid to write about it are writing about each other instead.”

“I think the problem is that you go into your office - wherever you work - and there’s always someone there who has some golf story to tell you. And it’s always a “funny” story about how they had to walk around in the woods looking for a bad slice or they lost more than one ball into a water trap, or some animal did something… oh god I’m losing my will to live just talking about this.”

Golf.com shows how funny golf can be with this video… and some guy named David Feherty, who I think may have brain damage from getting hit by a truck, talking about how he didn’t realize he had a photo of Tie Domi on his wall… so, not that funny.
